Big Day

Today I leave to go to Ibiza for three months.

I am ready to go, got all my stuff sorted and all that. But at the same time I haven't given myself loads of time to think about it, apart from a few prayer slots and chats with people. Maybe It's cos I worked until today, I was hoping to have a couple of days off before but for monetary reasons thought It best to work as much as I could.

So thats left me today, with about five hours until I leave, to chill out and mentally get ready to get on the plane tonight at half nine and leave. I think about it now and realise Its a big deal, not that I didn't think that before. But its propa exciting, I mean really exciting. I can't wait to join Charlie, Abby, Brian, Tracy, Poppy and the others that are there for the summer.

But its time now to relax, have something to eat. I've got my Van Morrison dvd on, Live at Montreaux 1980.

I'll blog every couple of weeks while I'm there, maybe more (probably not). So please read and remember me in ya prayers. Cheers.

Gods Light Show

There was a storm. A Massive storm. Sunday night.

It was quite far out to sea as we couldn't hear any thunder. However, from the roof of the farmhouse we could see the most amazing light show.

It was cloudy so we couldn't clearly see the lightning, but you could see the clouds lighting up white and orange. It was beautiful! It was mostly in one area but every so often it would spread for miles across the sky.

Then every so often we'd get a treat and we see the lightning. It wasn't connecting to the ground. So we just saw forks of lightning spreading throughout the sky like fireworks.

Words can't describe how beautiful it was (love the cheese).

Gods light show.

Sense of Humour.

We walked this guy back to his hotel last night. He was so funny!

We were with him for atleast an hour. So it was very refreshing that he kept making us laugh.

Sometimes it can be so hard to sit with someone for ten minutes let alone an hour. But if their making you laugh then its so much easier.

He had such a good sense of humour.

This Weekend...

Was Lovely! Propa Relaxing!

Quite a few of the guys were ill during the week. So we had the whole weekend off.
Propa dosed up on the old Sun. Though it don't look like it! Experimented a bit by having a Tapas dinner. Was alright, Nout special about it.

Came into this week with loads of energy and raring to go.

One team left, the next arrived. From Dublin. Lovely Bunch.

This Team

This Team have been really Great.

Really good at talking to holiday makers! Very outgoing in conversation.

All the teams have been awesome. Really good company and always very encouraging and inspiring.

You pick up alot of your energy from the team. If your tired and they aren't then you pick up some of their energy. Keeps you awake and positive.

You of course have to take the lead sometimes, but it is alot about teamwork. Supporting each other.

Last Night...

A girl from Sheffield got pointed in the direction of one of the team also from Sheffield. The Girl has been exploring christianity and checking out local churches. She was introduced to the idea of Alpha and sounded very interested. Exciting.

A couple of the team prayed from two homeless workers, that they would find somewhere to stay. They later bumped into a guy called Darren, He offered them somewhere to stay. Darren had been previously prayed for, for healing. Connections.

I Had been thinking...

If every holiday maker in Ibiza heard the gospel, or was shwon some kindness by some Jesus followers. What difference would it make to Great Britain? Europe?
